Hmmmm… I freaking love K Webster’s books but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t often leave me staring at my kindle thinking, WTF?!?
Her latest release, Notice was one of those books. It was filled to the brim with weird yet completely engaging characters and in all honesty, I loved my time with them. They’re over the top and striking in their habits – like run away and call the cops behavior but I couldn’t get enough. I was consumed by Grayson and Violet.
Anyway. I have no clue how to review this book – I desperately want to leave it spoiler free (and I advise you to avoid reviews with spoilers!) So Violet works for Grayson and you get the impression that it’s not the greatest place to work. When she’s finally had enough and quits – well…. that’s when things heat up between her and her boss.
It’s at this point that the plot becomes kinda bonkers but it kept me on the edge of my seat, hella curious what was going to happen next. And I was never disappointed. Each scene out did the last and my jaw lived on the ground for this romance. Romantic. Creepy. Suspenseful. This book has it all.
And the fact that I fell a little in love with Grayson after some of his choices is what makes this a top recommendation from me. K Webster deserves a ton of praise for her writing ability – who else can make you love the unlovable like this author – it’s a rare talent. One that I believe is impressive and as well as addictive. I always anticipate her next read because I can’t wait to see what she has created.
So the bottom line is this. Notice is a must read. Grab your copy and be prepared to have your panties knocked off.
