Genre: Contemporary Romance
When word reaches his fancy corner office that Gallum is replacing himself with his daughter, Amity, Carver is ecstatic.
For real this time.
Jones squashes men in the business industry flat. A woman? Pfst. He’ll be completely in charge in no time, doing whatever he wants. He’s so ready for this.
But is he ready to fight the hardest fight of his life? No, not the one to maintain control of his company. The one to keep control of his heart.
The battle may begin in the boardroom, but the war will definitely be won in the bedroom. May the best sex win.
USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke lives and breathes books. After years of slightly obsessive relationships with the flawed bad boys created by other authors, Adriana has created her own.
She resides in the Midwest with her husband, sons, and two dogs. She spends a large amount of time playing with her kids, drinking coffee, and cooking. You can find her outside if the weather’s nice and there’s always a piece of candy in her pocket.

Don’t tell anyone but I’m hella competitive – to the point where I take Wii bowling seriously. So I freaking LOVE books where the two main characters battle it out for their dream positions. Doesn’t matter if they want to be a CEO or the lead guitarist. If there is some sort of competition, I one-click without hesitation.
That being said, the Battle of the Sexes blurb rang that bell hard for me and then the book itself delivered. It was every thing I could have ever asked for in a romance. Charming and enticing characters. Check. Witty, and hilarious conversations filled with sexual tension. Check. Moments that made my heart skip a beat? Check. The entire book was a delight to read and I devoured it in one sitting.
Here’s the deal. Amity and Carver both want to lead their families business into the future. But only one of them can be CEO. So the board pits them against one another in a no holds bar competition for the title.
However, their history and budding attraction distract them both from being totally vicious even though it’s in both of they’re personalities to be cut throat. It made for some of the best verbal sparring and foreplay that I’ve read in a while. Everything about this duo was awesome. Especially how the author resolves the their dilemma. I loved it!
Adriana Locke is quickly becoming a go to author for me. I adore her characters and the storylines that she creates. She is an excellent writer and I cannot recommend her books enough, especially her latest Battle of the Sexes. Get your copy today – I promise you will not regret it!
