Fake engaged to the hottest quarterback in the country? SCORE.
They say nothing compares to your first kiss,
But our first kiss was orchestrated for an audience.
Our second kiss . . . that one was REAL.
He cradled my face like he was terrified he’d f*ck it up.
He stared into my eyes until the air buzzed.
Soft and slow, full of sighs and little laughs,
He inhaled me like I was the finest Belgian chocolate,
And he’d never get another piece.
A nip of his teeth, his hand at my waist . . .
And I was lost.
I forgot he was paying me to be his fake fiancée.
I forgot we weren’t REAL.
Our kiss was pure magic, and before you laugh and say those kinds of kisses don’t exist,
Then you’ve never touched lips with Max Kent, the hottest quarterback in college history.

Arrghhh!! I am in total book hangover mode. I just finished Ilsa Madden-Mills latest release, Fake Fiancée. The characters and their drama kept me up late into the night because I was completely unable to put this book down. I needed to experience their happily ever after and I was so satisfied when I did. This romance was absolutely spectacular.
What can I say about the two main characters in Fake Fiancée… Max is sexy, charismatic and driven – the king of the campus. Sunny is just badass. Clever, witty and brave. She is undeniably one of the emotionally and mentally strong female characters I’ve ever met. Together they’re captivating and right from the start of the book, I found myself rooting for these two.
Here’s their deal. Several years ago, a chance encounter brought Sunny and Max together. Their whole interaction only lasted a few minutes and they left the incident not knowing one anther’s names or the impact that they’d had on each others lives.
Fast forward to the present when kismet (and a drunk tart) brings them back together as neighbors. Sparks fly and the sexual chemistry is undeniable. However, neither one of them wants a relationship – they have too much going on but they hatch a scheme that is mutually beneficial to them both.
As their story unfolds, they get closer and I found myself consistently thinking – they are so freaking good together! I loved them. I loved that they made my heart race and swoon. It was just awesome reading.
Although the plot was a little predictable, I thought Fake Fiancée was a sexy and romantic read with incredible characters and plenty of unforgettable moments. The story is brilliantly written and it should be added to everyone’s must read list. Grab your copy today!
