No lies of calling the next day, and no empty promises of not banging anyone’s mother.
If I could act like I’ve never met a set of twins I screwed on the same night, thinking they were the same person, then I could do this.
It was the perfect set up for a fake relationship and it was simple.
We faked our smiles, we faked our laughs; hell, we even faked our love. It wasn’t real.
But that kiss was anything but fake, and the orgasm was anything but pretend.
Somehow my plus one had become more, and now I’m standing here with my underwear around my ankles wondering what in the hell to do next.

There are so many great rom com books available now but oh my – I really, really need to recommend this one. I loved Plus One – this romance rocked.
I was all in after the prologue. It was the perfect opening to opportunities and adventures. Where would Rae’s life go after the demise of her relationship? I mean, it could be all bitterness and heartache or fun rebounds and sexual hijinks. Either way, I would win. What I found was a realistic book FILLED with quick wit and over the top sexual chemistry.
Here’s a quick overview. Rae and Max’s moms are both hounding them to find significant others. It’s annoying. So they hatch a plan to help one another out. I know what you’re thinking, I know this storyline. I’ve experienced this plotline. They’re going to pretend to be a couple and then fall in love, blah, blah, blah.
BUT STOP!! You haven’t meet Max and Rae.. and everyone knows that fabulous characters can make any storyline feel fresh and new. Which they do – ten fold.
I loved this couple. At the beginning, I wanted to kick Jordan’s ass but it turned out that he did Rae a HUGE favor. Max was a billion times more amazing than that douchebag could have ever been. Plus, Max and Rae had this spark whenever they were near each other. It is awesome. They bring out the best (nd worst) in each other and it is entertaining as hell.
I loved Plus One. Loved it. It was nothing like the author’s other books and that was fun to experience as a fan of hers. It showed me the wide range and extent of her writing ability.
