As one of the most prestigious wedding coordinators in Los Angeles, Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft is known for being classy, elegant, and the orchestrator of many happily-ever-afters.

But in the words of Paige herself: “What a crock of shiitake.

”Known affectionately (or not) as P.I.T.A. to those closest to her, she’s never been one to buy into the whole monogamy thing for herself. Sure, her BFFs are getting picked off by Cupid one by one, but his arrows have nothing on her semiautomatic.

Richard “Dick” Dawson does his best to live up to his name. A long-time frenemy and manwhore extraordinaire, he thrives on pushing limits, pushing up skirts—and pushing every single one of Paige’s buttons. He’s the itch she can’t scratch, and doesn’t want to. Or does she?

What happens when blazing-hot rage turns to crazy, unexplainable lust? Surely not…love? Because that would just be a total P.I.T.A.

about-the-authorBrooke Blaine

brooke-blaine-newYou could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her ‘quiet time.’ Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.

She is the author of the international bestselling romantic comedy series, L.A. Liaisons (“Licked” and “Hooker), as well as Flash Point and The Desperate Man series. The latter, co-authored with Ella Frank, has scarred her conservative Southern family for life, bless their hearts.

If you’d like to get in touch with her, she’s easy to find – just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone that’s dominated her cell phone for ten years.

my-review5 Stars

I am a HUGE L.A. Liaisons series junkie, so I was hella excited to get Paige and Dawson’s story.  Every time these two interacted previously, I felt like I needed a cigarette.  They are like a freaking live wire together. Sparks fly – it’s unpredictable and intense – you can’t look away because you have to see what’s going to happen next.

Anyway…. here’s the deal.  Paige and Dawson share a non-romantic past. They were life-long friends who for some reason just stopped being best friends and turned into frienemies. And after years of brief snarky interactions, they spend one fabulous night together in Vegas drunk on Goldschläger.

It unleashes years of untapped passion and ultimately, it is the night that starts the romantic adventure between them.  They share all kinds of the ups and downs but Paige and Dawson’s story is the whole package. Witty, smart and sexually arousing.  It’s truly spectacular storytelling and their journey is freaking amazing.

I could probably go on for days and days (and days) gushing about the chemistry that these to share. Paige and Dawson were so much fun to get to know because I never knew how they were going to challenge one another.  I devoured their romance.  It felt real and they made me… Laugh. Swoon.  Ache.  Yearn.  (Can I just say I loved it again?!?)

Seriously. P.I.T.A. was I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E.  I loved that I was anticipating this book for quite some time and it exceeds all of my expectations.  Something Brooke Blaine does EVERY single time I pick up one of her books.  Do not skip reading her latest release – whether you’ve read the other books or not.  (Which if you haven’t – fix that error ASAP!!)  So go now, read P.I.T.A. – you can thank me later.
