chanel cleetonOriginally a Florida girl, CHANEL CLEETON moved to London where she received a bachelor’s degree from Richmond, The American International University in London and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Chanel fell in love with London and planned to stay there forever, until fate intervened on a Caribbean cruise and a fighter pilot with smooth dance moves swept her off her feet. Now, a happily ever after later, Chanel is living her next adventure.

Law school made Chanel realize she’d rather spend her days writing sexy stories than in a courtroom, and she hasn’t looked back since. An avid reader and hopeless romantic, she’s happiest curled up with a book. She has a weakness for handbags, her three pups, and her husband.

Chanel writes contemporary romances. She is published by Harlequin HQN, Penguin/InterMix, and Penguin/Berkley and is the author of the International School, Capital Confessions, and Wild Aces series.

“Love was different once you’d known loss. Now I held on a bit tighter, knowing all too well how it felt to have your heart ripped away from you.”

Sweet Jesus. I was consumed by the first two books in this series – sexy pilots falling in love and crazy, heart pounding drama  – how could I not be?!  But those stories have nothing on Alex and Dani’s romance.  On Broken Wings’ love story reached deep down inside of my soul.  All of the guilt, yearning and passion was gripping and intense.  I freaking loved every moment.

If you’re reading this series than you know that Dani tragically lost her husband. You also know that Easy has been in love with her since the moment he first laid eyes on her but that he has also fought his feelings for his best friend’s girl with all that he has.

At the start of the book, several months have passed since Joker’s death and Dani finds herself struggling to find her new normal without him.  Easy might be the only person who brings her true comfort but lately it’s confusing for both of them. New and old feelings are simmering all around them, waiting to boil out of control.

It’s captivating reading.  I was devouring page after page completely caught up in their unfolding story. I couldn’t begin to understand the guilt and heartache that tortures Dani and Alex.  But thanks to the author’s incredible writing, I felt the chemistry and budding feelings.  And as I read, my heart was screaming out for more.

It wanted Dani and Alex’s feelings and lust to be unleashed. I wanted their happiness.  I wanted them find solace in one another’s arms.  Because even though this relationship was born from the loss of another,  it was oh so enchanting and romantic.

This book is amazing and it must be experienced.  Don’t miss out on Chanel Cleeton’s On Broken Wings.  It is a must read.
