Can two hearts entwined by hardship move on to form a healthy bond? From the author of His to Love and His to Protect, this tender, bittersweet romance brings together a man who loses everything—and a woman with everything to give.
Chelsea Dwyer arrives home from her job at the middle-school library in Latham Hills, Michigan, expecting another quiet evening—until she hears the screams for help through her living room window. As the first witness to a terrible accident involving two local students, Chelsea doesn’t anticipate how her own life will be irrevocably changed by the father of one of the boys. In the wake of tragedy, she’s the only one who seems to understand his grief. Chelsea’s a survivor, too—and she knows that there are brighter days ahead.
As a single father, Aidan Deveraux worked his entire life to provide a stable home for his son, Derrick. Without him, Aidan feels the deepest despair imaginable. The one thing that keeps him going is his connection with the woman who tried to save his son. Hard as he tries, Aidan just can’t stay away. Chelsea’s warm embrace is the comforting solace he desperately craves—and it doesn’t hurt that Aidan had noticed the beautiful librarian and wanted to ask her out for years. Now that she’s in his life, he doesn’t ever want to let go.

Stacey Lynn is a simple girl, raised most of her life in the MidWest. Perhaps it was the long, frigid winters that left her so bored she had nothing to do but spend time reading every book she could get her hands on from John Grisham and Danielle Steel to Ann M. Martin and CS Lewis. As an avid reader, she began penning poems and short stories long before she reached high school and her love of the written word has never diminished.
Now, as a wife and mother to four children, she finds solace from the craziness of her life by creating steamy, sexy stories that generally tug at your emotions. What began as a hobby and a way to survive a Minnesota winter three years ago and the dream of publishing her first book, has now turned into an unending passion.

Holy crap. You broke me, Stacey Lynn. I was in no shape or form prepared for your latest release, His to Cherish. I cannot believe what you put Aidan (AND ME) through!!
The power and drama of this book was experiencing the loss of Derrick – it felt so real. Every moment of pain squeezed my heart. And even though it is the catalyst to finally setting into motion relationship between Aiden and Chelsea (which is awesome), his death initially overshadows that brightness and it absolutely guts you as a reader. The sorrow you feel stays with you.
I was completely caught up in the character’s grief and later, their healing; so much so that the entire outside world disappeared. I spend page after page living through the mending of Aidan’s heart and Chelsea’s roll in that process. It left me truly treasuring their friendship and then the moments of passion and bliss. They were hard earned and well deserved. I desperately wanted their happily ever after and cheered when it happened.
It’s such an emotional ride and it’s more than I ever anticipated from this book while I waited for it to release. Hands-down, His to Cherish was my absolute favorite story in this series and I cannot recommend it enough. Grab this book today, it is an incredible read.
