The Wind Dragons MC couple who started it all is back! We met the stars of Chantal Fernando’s bestselling series in Dragon’s Lair, and now Sin and Faye are ready for more—and with these two, that means more passion, more action, and more of the best kind of trouble.
Sin, president of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, doesn’t mind that things have quieted down since he got married—with Faye at his side, he’ll never be bored. Plus, they’ve got their little girl Clover to keep them on their toes. But when new MC brother Talon needs help rooting out a traitor in his old club, Faye’s the first to volunteer. She’s more determined than ever to get involved and put her law degree to good use, but Sin soon finds himself riding to the rescue. Because he’ll kill anybody who touches a hair on Faye’s head—if she doesn’t get to them first. One way or another, tonight’s going to be someone’s last ride….
Chantal Fernando is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author whose novels include two books in the Maybe series—Maybe This Time and its follow up, This Time Around; and her latest releases, Toxic Girl and Saxon. When not reading, writing, or daydreaming, she can be found enjoying life with her three sons and family. She lives in Western Australia.
Last Ride invites us back in to the Wind Dragons MC clubhouse – which is seriously exciting! I love this group of bikers and their mates!!
The Wind Dragons are not the same men they were at the beginning of the series. They’ve experienced trauma, heartache, love, and created families beyond their brotherhood. Don’t give me wrong – they’re still rebellious hellions but it’s just a different sort of badass. Their protection and loyalty extends beyond their brothers to their partners and to their children.
So it was fun to go back and have the author shine her focus on Sin and Faye again. Who in all honestly, I had forgotten how much I freaking adored. I know they’ve been in all the other books and I’ve gotten glimpses of them here and there but nothing compares to being inside their heads. Experiencing all the various club members through their eyes.
Anyway, trouble has been brewing for a while now and it left me highly anticipating the moment or action that would release the fury of the Wind Dragons. (FYI – Chantal’s pissed off and possessive bikers are hot!) And when hell breaks loose – oh my. The story telling is awesome.
I loved that Faye found herself at the center of the drama and I loved the fierce devotion this group has for one another. I loved how they’re willing to go to any lengths for each other and it created an intense drama that was very entertaining.
I thought that Last Ride was a nice addition to this series and I highly recommend that you don’t miss the latest installment. It was a fast paced, exciting story which was filled with the passion I’ve come to expect from this author – I loved it. Get your copy today.
