The Flawed Heart Series (Book 3)
Release: September 26, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance
I followed my dream,
To write, to feel, to live.
But my life has no meaning without Loïc.
I’m not whole, not me,
Loving Loïc is how I breathe.
I’m a hollow waste of space.
I can’t feel, can’t breathe, can’t fight,
She’s who I am,
What I am supposed to be,
What I am supposed to do.
Is how I live.
Finding London (Book 1)
Keeping London (Book 2)
Ellie Wade resides in southwest Michigan with her husband, three young children, and two dogs. She has a Master’s degree in education from Eastern Michigan University and is a huge University of Michigan sports fan. She loves the beauty of her home state, especially the lakes and the gorgeous autumn weather. When she is not writing, you will find her reading, snuggled up with her kids, or spending time with family and friends. She loves traveling and exploring new places with her family.
Each of the books in the Flawed Heart series has some how surprised me. The author never takes the predictable route with her plotlines and I absolutely love her for it.
Loving London is the final installment of London and Loïc’s journey. It has been a highly emotional ride both for the characters and for me as the reader. I was heartbroken at the end the last book. It absolutely gutted me to feel all of their heartache and pain – so I was ready for them to find solace and happiness in each other’s lives.
The beginning of the book flashed back to Loïc’s time in Afghanistan and I got to relive those last few horrible months of the previous book. I thought it was incredible to get all of that from Loïc’s perspective – it left me hurting for him just as much as I was for London. Although, I still hated that all of that destruction put the two main characters on very different paths.
For most of this book, London and Loïc are apart but it worked because it gave them both much needed time to heal and grow as individuals. However, with each new page I felt more desperate, and more curious to know if they would be reunited or if they would end up with other people. My heart raced and I ended up devouring the story because I had to know what their happily ever afters looked like.
It was worth it in the end. Ellie Wade gave me all that I could have ever asked for in a conclusion for my beloved couple. It was an awesome book – I really enjoyed Loving London.
So definitely don’t miss out on meeting London and Loïc – I can’t recommend their romance enough.
