my review

4 Stars

This book.  Argg!! The couple and their romance drove me nuts!!! I’m just not honestly sure if it’s a good thing or not.  Stadium of Lights both fascinated and annoyed me.

The two main characters, Max and Abby are reunited after ten years.  Mind you, they were never romantic with one another in the past but they were close friends. Back then, she was a nerdy tomboy and he was the king of their high school but they were friends.  They got one another.  Jump forward – the only thing that has changed in the present is that now she’s a knockout and Max finally sees all that Abby could be in his life.

So you can imagine how the story is going to play out – lots of sex, confusion and no honest communication.  My problem with this romance was that I kinda thought both characters were jerks.  Conflicts would occur and I didn’t want to side with either character – I almost wanted to go fall into one of the other player’s beds.

BUT here is were I am confused – I couldn’t stop reading.  I devoured the entire mess of a love story in one sitting.  So take it for whatever it’s worth – I liked this book.  I didn’t love it but I was definitely entertained.
