book blurb

Alicia Forkes went to a trendy club looking for a way to forget her troubles, and she found that in the arms of the gorgeous man who swept her off of her feet…and into one of the hottest encounters she’d ever had in her life. Awesome sex with a stranger is now something she can check off her bucket list.

Except he isn’t exactly a stranger. He’s the guy who broke her heart when they were teens, an experience she doesn’t plan on repeating.

Prince Leo can’t believe he’s finally found the woman he’s loved for years, and she wants nothing to do with him. When she shows up at his office, she looks anything but princess-like. In fact, she’s cursing him to hell and back. She may not be Cinderella, but he’s determined to prove he’s the prince for her––even if it means letting her go.

my review

4.5 Stars

When you read a lot of books (and I do), you tend to get desensitized or bored with insta-love. You want to be romanced. You want to swoon. You want to be so overcome with love that you sigh out loud when the couple surrenders to their feelings and passion for one another.

The Prince’s Bride gave me all of that and more. I really liked this book and it’s romance.  Which to be honest, I was a bit surprised by. Maybe it was the title or the cover, but I wasn’t expecting to be as smitten with this story as I was. However, it turned out to be an amazing second chance love story that was filled with laugh of loud banter, melt your panties foreplay and a romance that will leave you breathless.

It is awesome.

So here’s the deal.  Years ago Leo betrayed Alicia and more than that, he let her down when she had no one else left in the world to help her back it.  Since then she has moved on but she hasn’t forgotten how badly Leo hurt her and she isn’t sure she can get past that when fate brings them back together.

And I adored every moment that Leo showed Alicia that she could trust him  His courting was romantic and swoon worthy – you’ll give your heart to him long before she does.  It leaves you wondering who decided to play God with their relationship and left hoping that they finally get their happily ever after.

The Prince’s Bride is an excellent read and a fun fairy tale style romance.  The story moves along at a fast pace and you enjoy every moment of the book.  I definitely suggest giving this title a chance – it’s a great book.
