my review

5 Stars

Holy emotional ride!! This book was intense and I could not put Butterfly Dreams down.  Corin and Beckett’s story grabbed ahold of my heart and squeezed it as hard as they could.

I really liked both Corin and Beckett – they were quite the interesting pairing.  She’s a hypochondriac who is terrified to live. He’s got a failing heart and is afraid to die.  Fate brings them together, taking two broken hearts and making them whole. It’s spectacular.

Their story is all about surrendering to the fact, we really do not have any control of our destinies. You could live to 100 or die at 25 – but the whole point is that you need to actually live. You must experience your life to the fullest no matter what. Do things that scare you. Do things that make your heart race. Feel passion. Push your boundaries. Explore who you are and what you need out of life to find happiness.

This is what Beckett and Corin discover together. Their journey and romance was incredible – it both made my heart ache and swoon.

And FYI – Beckett is everything you want from your book hero – he’s smart and charming. Sexy and sweet. His courting of Corin will make you smile and set your lady bits on fire. He. Is. AWESOME.

Overall, I loved this book. After I finished reading, my heart felt like it had been run over by a semi truck but I’d do it all over again just to experience the quirky relationship between the two main characters.  Do not miss out on their romance – it is a must read experience.
