I LOVED this book. I was completely captivated by the Epic Sins’ plot – especially with Garrett and Sam’s romance. The author really pulled on my heart strings with their story and I was unable to put it down once I started reading.
I don’t think you could put together two more different characters than Garrett and Samantha. He’s a badass rock star who lives his life full of excess – too much booze, drugs and woman. He’s not a bad guy – Garrett just likes his life as it is and is a bit selfish. Sam is the complete opposite. She’s devoted her life to helping those who cannot help themselves. She is a nurturer and gives the people in her life everything she has – Sam doesn’t take anything for granted.
However, they share more than they realize. Separate events that occurred when they were teens greatly affected them both and they seem to carry the weight of their life experiences but it has affected them both differently.
So when Garrett and Sam are thrown together by fate, it’s not an easy journey toward happily every after for the two. Their connection and affection for one another builds slowly and under difficult circumstances. With each scene, I was pulled in a little bit more – I was totally immersed in the situation that helps develop their relationship. It was heartbreaking.
Epic Sins is a must read book and it is a top recommendation from me. Garrett and Sam’s journey toward happily ever after is an amazing read – I absolutely fell in love with these characters. They’re smart, sexy, and alluring – Definitely, definitely check Epic Sins out!!
