The Bourbon Street Boys (Book 1)
Release Date: September 22, 2015
When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout.
After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night—and the offer of a job. But it’s not long before a gun-toting stalker isn’t the only complication in May’s life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they’ve got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess…Will it also get her the right guy?

Oh my goodness – I loved this book. I am so flipping excited that Wrong Number, Right Guy is the start to a Bourbon Street Boys series. Not only was it sexy and enticing but it was also freaking hilarious. I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading it. I’m praying to the book Gods that we’re going to get a book for every single one of the characters I just fell in love with.
So here’s the deal with the plot. May ‘the Bo Peep’ Wexler is a struggling photographer and she accidentally stumbles into a situation – thanks to a misunderstanding – so chaotic and dangerous that it would have most people fleeing the country. However, May runs toward the mess and her life is so much better for it. She is totally badass in a Lucille Ball kinda way and it is spectacular.
Soon May is involved with a group of people who challenge her and expand her preconceived notions of what her life should look like. She’s trying new things and loving it. And thrown into her mix is the super hot and highly alluring Ozzie. The chemistry and attraction between these two characters – wooziers. Your lady bits are tingling and you cannot wait until their next intimate moment.
May’s new world is also suddenly filled with several incredible characters from the BSB team. Their interactions with one another are lively and off the charts funny. Almost as impressive as the scenes with Ozzie. You basically fall in love with the entire company which is want makes you want more from the series.
Overall, this book flows well and before you know it, you’ve reached the end of May and Ozzie’s journey. You feel blissed out and satisfied but definitely ready for more romantic adventures with the Bourbon Street Boys crew. It is just that awesome. I absolutely recommend this book – get Wrong Number, Right Guy today!
