book blurbTor

Jude Pearson could just as well kill me as kiss me most days. He was my captor, my living hell, and yet, he became my saviour, my heart. Stupid. He’s heartless, conditioned to feel nothing, and so I ran… straight into the clutches of his enemy. Joe Campbell wants Jude to suffer, and I just became a pawn in a very dangerous game.

Joe has broken me in every way, everything that I once was stripped away, and in it’s place is festering hatred and a rage so cold I feel nothing else. I have one purpose.

Love makes you weak, it makes you irrational. She was collateral, completely innocent when she was unwillingly dragged into my corrupt world. With the damage I’d already caused her, I couldn’t let her love me, so I let her go, and now…he has her.

No matter where she is, she will always be mine. This man has taken every-fucking-thing from me, and he has the last thing that matters to me. I will kill him. Slowly. Joe Campbell better run because the devil is fucking coming for him.

Sometimes two wrongs can make a right.

Our Wrath binds us, but it may also break us.

about the author

Lauren Lovell is an indie author from England. She suffers from a total lack of brain to mouth filter and is the friend you have to explain before you introduce her to anyone, and apologise for afterwards.

She’s a self-confessed shameless pervert, who may be suffering from slight peen envy.

my review

5 Stars

Holy crap. Did all that just seriously happen?! I feel emotionally exhausted – I don’t think I could have felt any more distress for a couple if I purposely tried to crush my own heart.

Straight from the start nothing about this duo was right. Jude and Tor’s love was born out of a unscrupulous circumstance. Their faith and trust in one another – shady at best.  Their connection was based on an intense attraction and potent lust.  But their hearts didn’t care. When Jude and Tor were near one another, it was just right. It was coming like home.

Wrath picks up right where Wrong ended – with their epic battle with Joe raging on. The destruction and absolute horror of Joe and Jude’s need for vengeance is literally killing everyone around them. No one is safe. I devoured scene after scene wondering how could there possibly be a happily ever after?!? I mean, seriously – I’m not sure that even the strongest love can give solace to people who are scarred to their souls.

But the power of incredible writers is that they give you the story you need not the one you expect or think should be. They entertain you with jaw dropping suspense and heart pounding drama. They pull you into their world until you can’t see anything else other than what they’ve created. LP Lovell and Stevie J. Cole accomplished all that and more with this series.

These two books took me on a dark and twisty tale of earth shattering love. One that you hoped can survive the absolute worst life can throw at it.  It was powerful and fierce.  Absolutely incredible. I loved it.

Jude and Tor’s romance was a dynamic story that you don’t want to miss out on it.  It’s a top recommendation from me and I definitely suggest you read this series.
