book blurb

The only thing Nixon Bennett ever excelled at is fighting. No one ever understood him, especially his parents and sister.

Then Brooklyn Davis walks into his gym, and his world shifts.

Brooklyn is just like him in so many ways, and yet so fragile in others.

my review

4.5 Stars

When I first started reading, I wasn’t sure how invested I would be with the characters and plot in Mine. I was worried after the first few chapters that it was just going to be a quick novella filled with a erotic scenes and vulgar words but not a whole lot more. Don’t get me wrong – that type of story is entertaining but I like my serial series to be more. I need to truly be enticed into wanting the next installment. My mind needs to be tempted while my lady bits are tingling.

So I was more than pleasantly surprised when I kept reading Mine. The characters turned out to be alluring as well as arousing. Nixon and Brooklyn share an undeniable connection – one you want to spend more time with. It’s awesome.

They both clearly carry emotional scars from their pasts and have too many secrets. I felt more than curious to know them better – by the end I was desperate for more and for them to give into their attraction to one another.  These two – holy hotness!! I cannot wait to experience their passion when it is finally released!!

AND THAT ENDING – OMG!! I am hooked. I want the next installment in this series and highly suggest you find out why. Definitely start reading the Imperfect Chaos series today.
