Colleen Hoover is the author of eight New York Times bestselling novels. She self-published her first novel, SLAMMED, in 2012. Five months later it debuted on The New York Times. Colleen has since signed with Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, and currently has eight NYT’s bestselling novels and three novellas. Her next novel, November 9, is scheduled to release in November, 2015.
Ugly Love, a novel she released in August, 2014, is currently in pre-production with Hackybox Pictures and is slated to release in 2016.
She lives in Texas with her husband and their three sons.
I don’t know why there’s any negativity attached to the second part of the Never Never series – it was freaking awesome.
I love Silas. I loved being inside his head and experiencing all of this with him. He has no idea what’s going on with his and Charlie’s lives but he’s being so proactive – he’s trying desperately to find a thread to pull. Because even if he doesn’t know himself or anyone else, he believes in what his heart is trying to tell him. That he loves Charlie and he needs to help her.
I highly recommend this novella series – I’m hooked and loving this adventure. I also think it should be read it as it releases instead of reading all three installments when the final chapter releases. It’s fun to contemplate all that is happening with Silas and Charlie. It creates an intense anticipation for the conclusion to their journey and that heightens the story even more.
I cannot even begin to speculate the genius plot twists these two authors probably have unfolding in their minds. I’m just happy they’re sharing it with me and it’s why I look forward to reading more from this duo.
