The fifth book in the New York Times new adult series that began with Real.
A ripped rock star with attitude.
summoned, Mackenna decides not to press charges if she’ll join him on tour and follow certain conditions–rules designed to give him the upper hand and keep her in close contact with him once again. Soon, the passion they once shared is reignited, and no matter how much Pandora wants to hate him, her hard exterior starts to crack. And worse: Mackenna knows it, too. But he hasn’t uncovered all her secrets…
Katy Evans grew up with books and book-boyfriends until she found a real sexy boyfriend to love. They married and are now hard at work on their own happily ever after. Katy loves her family and friends, and she also loves reading, walking, baking, and being consumed by her characters until she reaches “The End.” Which is, hopefully, only the beginning…
I loved Ripped. It’s the story of Pandora and Mackenna – high school sweethearts whose relationship ended badly when Kenna left to pursue his dreams. Karma throws them back together after Pandora makes a few poor choices, so they’re given the chance to reconnect.
Ripped is essentially a second chance romance that has a huge hurdle in its way – trust. The couple cannot go around this problem or ignore it. They have to plow through all of their issues to get past it. But Pandora isn’t sure she can give her a heart to Kenna again but with her joining his tour she isn’t sure that she can avoid it.
I love how cringe worthy moments in real life can come together and make the most fabulous stories in books. I spent the half the time I was reading this book laughing out loud. The hilarity of moments like Pandora concert and deciding to pelt Kenna with vegetables – epic. It was all so much fun to read.
The other half of the time, I was blushing – these two share an intense lust for one another. Wooziers. Holy cow was it hot.
Pandora and McKenna’s romance is filled with drama, pain and most of all – love. Every moment of this book is awesome – it was exciting and highly entertaining and I could not put it down. Ripped is an incredible story that I suggest you don’t miss out on.
