book blurb

In this Brotherhood you live or die by the three-piece patch. For Hold Dawson, Vice-President of the Hells Highwaymen Motorcycle Club, it’s not just black ink tattooed on his body, but the religion he worships, and the law that governs his life. Nothing else matters. Family by choice and not by blood. More sacred than a shared name.

Bound by respect. Loyal to death.

Unity.  Respect.

Love.   Devotion.

Forever.

But there’s another side to this life. One the President, Hold’s own father, lives and regulates by.

Merciless. Wrathful.

Murderous.    Dishonest.

Lethal.

It’s blood in and blood out and only one man gets to be king.

my review

5 Stars

Read this book.  It’s an bold MC story filled with violence, sex and crazy, ass characters. It’s such an incredible journey, you don’t want to miss it.

My heart ached for Hold all throughout Beautiful Ink. Even though he was a serious bastard and some times I thought his behavior unforgivable – I liked him. I got that Hold did what he had to do for him and Helen to survive the MC world that they had been born into.  His loyalty to her, captured my affection and I wanted him to find happiness.

In Hell’s Ink, Hold’s story continues right where Beautiful Ink left off. His devotion and love for Helen cost him. The relationship with his father, Ward and with some members of Hells Highwaymen Motorcycle Club, including his closest friendship, are all tainted because he wanted someone who did not love him or his lifestyle.

Even though Hold has become this angry, hardened man – that bitterness has focused his energy and his attention towards saving his club. This leaves Hold and Ward engaged in a covert war. Things move quickly between the two and it feels like the destruction of the Hell Highwayman is inevitable. No one is safe.  It is suspenseful and exciting.

Layered on top all that drama, is a new romance.  Fate steps in and gives Hold his first real chance at true love with Shyla. You will truly like Shyla.  She is strong, resilient – choosing this world and Hold.  She gives comfort to him. Sanctuary. Love. But since nothing in his life is easy, there are consequences towards Hold acting on his feelings. It seems as though he is constantly going to put in position of having to choose between his heart and his love for the brotherhood.

Relationships like Hold and Shyla are the best kind of love to read about because you are dying for the couple to work out. You are overcome with their passion. Devour their uncontrollable and unavoidable moments of lust for one another.  You want them to find their happily every after.  It make for an epic MC romance.

I loved both Beautiful Ink and Hell’s Ink. Each story has a lot going on but it makes for an extreme and harsh ride.  I could not put either book down because each scene made me want more. (I also want Mikey to get more, too!!) I definitely recommend these two stories.
